What your costume payment actually covers

You are not buying an outfit. You are buying two days on the road with everything around it handled.

A Showtime costume package includes your Carnival Tuesday costume plus, on both Monday and Tuesday, meals, premium drinks, security, music trucks, paramedics and mobile restrooms. Travel, accommodation, fetes, J’ouvert and Monday Wear are separate.

Costume

Your full Carnival Tuesday costume, designed and fitted to your section, in the tier you chose. It is yours to keep.

Food

Chef-curated meals served on the road across both Monday and Tuesday, so you stay fuelled without leaving the band.

Premium drinks

Top-shelf bars stocked and staffed along the route: water, juice and premium alcohol included all day. An Ultra Bar upgrade is offered at checkout for those who want it.

Security

A dedicated, professional security detail moving with the band at all times.

Music trucks

High-powered sound trucks with top DJs and live acts: the heartbeat of the whole band.

Paramedics

On-route medical staff and first-aid support throughout both days.

Mobile restrooms

Clean, accessible facilities positioned along the route, so there is no scrambling mid-parade.

Why it is built this way

Carnival Tuesday can mean eight hours or more on the road in the heat. The food, drinks, medics and restrooms are not extras; they are what makes a full day physically possible. The security detail and the trucks are what turn thousands of individuals into one band. First-timers often ask whether they should bring their own water or food. You can, but you will not need to.

Not included

Flights, accommodation and airport transfers. Book these separately, and early.
Getting to the meeting point on Monday and Tuesday mornings. Roads along the route close, so many masqueraders pre-arrange a taxi.
Monday Wear. Monday is played in a relaxed outfit rather than your full costume. Showtime sells coordinated Monday Wear (TTD 1,199) so the band still looks unified.
Fetes. The parties in the weeks before Carnival are separate ticketed events.
J’ouvert. The pre-dawn Monday celebration is booked with a separate J’ouvert band.

Included in the lead-up

Registration also puts you inside the band before you land: section WhatsApp groups for real-time updates, the Fit Festival in January to get road-ready, and a team that answers sizing, collection and travel questions by WhatsApp and email.

Questions first-timers ask

Is Monday Wear included with my costume?

No. Monday Wear is a separate item (TTD 1,199) so you can choose whether to wear the band’s coordinated Monday outfit or your own comfortable clothes.

Are drinks really unlimited?

The premium bars along the route serve water, juice and premium alcohol throughout both days. An Ultra Bar upgrade is available as an add-on at checkout.

Do I get to keep the costume?

Yes. Your Carnival Tuesday costume is yours to keep.

Is J’ouvert part of the package?

No. J’ouvert is a separate pre-dawn event on Carnival Monday and is booked with a J’ouvert band, not your costume band.
