Use the sizing guide before choosing your bra, waist and bottom sizes. If you are between sizes or unsure, contact Showtime on WhatsApp before placing your order so the team can help you choose. Final sizes are due January 1, 2027.

How do I pick up my costume?

Costume distribution happens in the weeks leading up to Carnival at scheduled pickup dates at Mas Camp, 51 French Street, Port of Spain. Bring your QR boarding pass and a valid government-issued ID. If you are flying in and cannot make the standard window, contact the team to arrange an alternative.

I’m traveling alone — will I know anyone?

Many masqueraders play mas solo. You join a section from the moment you register, and the band’s WhatsApp groups connect you with fellow masqueraders before you land.

What should I bring on the road — and what should I leave at home?

Bring broken-in comfortable footwear, a small waist bag or crossbody for phone, ID, cash and sunscreen, and a portable phone charger. Leave at home anything you are not prepared to dance in, sweat in or lose.

I’m registering from outside Trinidad — do I have to pay my deposit in person?

No. Overseas customers can pay the TTD 800 deposit through Partial.ly or pay in full online by debit or credit card. The deposit must be received within 48 hours of placing your order. Final balances and sizes are due January 1, 2027. All payments are final and non-refundable.

You do not need to be in Trinidad to register. Choose a section in the store, pay a USD 120 deposit (about TTD 800) by card, spread the balance through Partial.ly until January 1, 2027, and collect your costume at Mas Camp in Port of Spain when you land for 8–9 February 2027.

You do not need to be in Trinidad to register

Every Take Off 2027 costume is sold online. You choose your section and tier in the store, pay the deposit by debit or credit card from anywhere, and the costume is held for you. The in-person Mas Camp option at checkout is only for people already in Trinidad; if you are overseas, pick Partial.ly or pay in full by card and ignore it.

How the monthly plan works

Choose your costume and select Partial.ly at checkout.
Pay the USD 120 deposit today by card. Your section spot is held from this moment.
Partial.ly splits the balance into equal monthly payments charged to the same card, ending by January 1, 2027. The earlier you register, the more months you have and the smaller each payment.
When the last payment clears, your QR boarding pass is emailed automatically.

Register a Gold Macaw Valiant (TTD 7,999 · USD 1,194) this month: USD 119 now, then about USD 358 a month for three months.

Pay in full any time; there is no fee for finishing early. All payments are final and non-refundable; missing the 1 January deadline forfeits the deposit and the costume allocation. The full wording is in the Registration & Refund Policy.

Book in this order

Costume first. Sections are capped and filled first-paid; Platinum and Diamond go first. The costume is the one thing you cannot buy in January.
Flights. Aim to land by Saturday 6 February at the latest so you can collect your costume and rest. Fares climb every week from November.
Somewhere to stay in or near Port of Spain. Woodbrook, St James, Maraval and the city centre are the usual picks for masqueraders; see getting to Trinidad.
Fetes and J’ouvert, if you want them. They sell out, but you do not need any of them to play mas.

When you land

Collection: your costume is boxed and waiting at Mas Camp, 51 French Street, Port of Spain (Tue–Fri 2:30–7:00 PM, Sat 1:00–7:00 PM; February collection dates are emailed per section in January). Bring your passport and the QR boarding pass.
Sizing: choose carefully with the sizing guide before you order. If anything needs to change afterwards, message the team on WhatsApp or email as soon as you know, before cutting starts: costumes are forecast and cut by size, so an early heads-up avoids wasted material and gives the best chance of a change.

Coming with a group?

Register everyone in one checkout (one masquerader name per costume) or have each person register on their own card. Either way, ask the team on WhatsApp about Link-Up: groups earn perks as they grow.

Questions first-timers ask

Can I pay the deposit from outside Trinidad?

Yes. Pay by debit or credit card online; the deposit is TTD 800, about USD 120. Choose Partial.ly at checkout to spread the balance.

What does Partial.ly charge me each month?

The balance after the deposit, divided equally over the months remaining until 1 January 2027, on the card you register with. Register early for smaller payments.

Is my card charged in USD or TTD?

In the currency shown at checkout. Switch the store to USD before you pay if you want the statement to match.

Do I have to collect the costume myself?

Yes, at Mas Camp in Port of Spain, with your passport and boarding pass. Costumes are not shipped.

What if my flight lands the day before Carnival?

Message the team on WhatsApp before you book so a collection slot can be arranged; Sunday collection is possible only by arrangement.

Can I change my size after I register?

Only through the team, and only before cutting starts: message them on WhatsApp or email as soon as you know. Costumes are forecast and cut by size, so the earlier they hear, the better the chance a change is possible. Changes are not guaranteed.

Are deposits refundable if I can’t travel?

No. All payments are final and non-refundable, and deposits are non-transferable.
