COSTUME SIZING MATRIX

Start With the Size You Already Wear

Your everyday clothing size is the best guide. If you're a Medium in your regular tops and a size 8–10 in bottoms, that's almost always the right call here too — most people find that faster and more reliable than attempting to measure themselves.

The measurement ranges further down this page exist for the edge cases — if you're between sizes, ordering for someone else, or simply not sure. If you need to confirm your exact measurements, we highly recommend consulting a professional tailor or seamstress. DIY measurements are easy to get wrong, so treat these numbers as a backup check, not the primary method.

Bust

Fullest part of your bust, parallel to the floor.

Underbust

Directly under your bust, where a bra band sits.

Waist

The narrowest point of your torso, usually above the belly button.

Hip

Feet together, fullest part of your hips and glutes.

Bra Size

Costume tops are built to standard bra sizing — the same size you'd wear in an everyday bra. That's the number to go with. If you genuinely don't know your bra size, please get professionally fitted by a tailor or seamstress. Still unsure? Select "confirm later" at checkout and our team will help.

Outside the US/UK? Bra sizing conventions vary by country. Have a professional measure your bust and underbust, and send the numbers to our team — we'll match you to the closest US/UK size.

Bottom Style

Bikini

The classic Carnival cut and most popular choice — moderate coverage, built for a full day of dancing.

Thong

Minimal coverage for the boldest, most photographed look on the road.

High-Waisted

Fuller coverage through the waist and hip, same festive design.

Bottom Size

Bottom sizes run XS–XXL across all styles — the same XS–XXL you'd pick up off a rack, so go with your normal size first. The ranges below are for the extreme or in-between cases.

Based on standard U.S. sizing. If between two sizes, size up for comfort on the road.

Still Not Sure?

What if I'm between two sizes?

Size up. Costume pieces are easier to take in than to let out, and comfort on the road matters more than a snug fit for photos.

I need to take my measurements — what is the best way?

We strongly advise visiting a professional tailor or seamstress to be accurately measured. If you don't have time right now, simply select "confirm later" at registration and we'll help you land on a size before the final cutoff.

Can I change my size after ordering?

Yes, up until the final sizing cutoff communicated in your Phase 2 email. After that, changes can't be guaranteed since costumes go into production.
